Description: Unio is a french musical theatre studio for children located in Toronto, Ontario.

The problem: Elevate the company’s visual identity to better distinguish itself within the french community

The solution: Given the nature of it’s productions, which showcase the fundamentals of acting and musical theatre for children of all ages, the Unio branding has a whimsical feel to it, grounded by a timeless font style. A gradient green colour blend it’s youthful and approachable essence.

The Logo: A bespoke logotype that seamlessly integrates a treble clef with whimsical cursive hand lettering, creating a harmonious blend of musical symbolism and playful dance movement.

Key Takeaways: A key lesson from this project was navigating multiple voices within the client’s management team to distill the creative focus for the new visual identity. While differing creative opinions can present challenges, they also offer an opportunity to explore the many dimensions of the brand. In the end, pushing beyond the obvious revealed deeper insights and resulted in a more refined and impactful design.
